Grassroots Medicine & Wellness Center is slated to open in Wynwood on May 1 at 2328 N. Miami Avenue, and it’s touted as the neighborhood’s first medicinal marijuana clinic. The wellness center is set to focus on cannabis evaluations, nutrition counseling, and alternative medicines.

In other local medical marijuana news, the South Florida Business Journal reports that Curaleaf is expanding. In addition to its three South Florida dispensaries, Curaleaf opened two new locations this week in central Florida, with outposts in Fort Myers and St. Petersburg.
