Wynwood Brewing Co.
The Wynwood Brewing Co. first opened its doors in October 2013, despite the logo stating “Established 2011.” To be fair, the established date is true, as the co-owners were busy testing brews, finding the perfect location, and getting permits and licenses needed to open its doors. This brewery is situated just east of I-95 in the Wynwood Arts District among galleries and restaurants. Beers currently on tap include the Wynwood Brewing Co.’s signature brews such as “Pop’s Porter: Robust Porter,” “La Rubia: Blonde Ale,” “Wynwood IPA: India Pale Ale,” and “Magic City: Pale Ale.” The Wynwood Brewing Co.’s tap room is open Sunday through Monday from noon to 10 PM, and Tuesday through Saturday from noon to midnight. The brewery offers weekend tours, which include a complementary glass and a 160z. pour of your favorite brew. Tours cost $10 per person, and are well worth it.
Monty’s Sunset + Monty’s Raw Bar
Monty’s Sunset located poolside and waterfront on the docks of the Miami Beach Marina offers picturesque views, good food, and even better drinks! Monty’s is South Beach’s premiere spot for fresh-caught local seafood, a succulent raw bar, and live music. This place is perfect to have a drink any time of day. Monday through Friday from 4 pm to 8pm is Happy Hour at this great spot, and offers patrons half off well liquors. Looking for a spot to catch a beautiful South Florida sunset? Rusty Pelican
The Rusty Pelican located on the Rickenbacker Causeway, heading towards Key Biscayne, is another great spot for drinks and gorgeous sunsets. The Rusty Pelican will ignite your senses with amazing views, great vibes, and even better drinks. This place is known as one of the hottest destinations for locals, tourists, and celebrities. Dazzling waterfront views, and artfully handcrafted cocktails such as their Strawberry Mule with Pinnacle vodka, fresh strawberries, lime, and ginger beer will have you destressed before you can count to 10.
Sugar @ east Miami
Sugar @ east Miami in the newly opened Brickell City Center is a 40th floor rooftop bar and garden that offers patrons great cocktails, Asian-inspired tapas, and amazing views. Patrons can relax and watch the day turn into night, while sipping on crafted cocktails and enjoying panoramic views overlooking the downtown Miami skyline and surrounding waterways below. This new Brickell hotspot is open daily – Monday through Thursday from 4 pm to 1 am, Friday and Saturday 4 pm to 3 am, and Sunday 4 pm to midnight.
Ted’s Hideaway
Ted’s Hideaway is a little spot on South Beach that truly is a hideaway. The hustle and bustle of South Beach stops at the door. Inside the chill, laidback feel will have you relaxed and ready sip a strong cocktail in peace. This watering hole has an Old English flavor, so you won’t even feel like you’re in the middle of Miami Beach. Patron’s often unwind with a game of pool or a chat at the bar. This little spot won the Best Dive Bar in Miami Beach category in the 2013 Miami New Times Best of Guide.
