When you order from the prix fixe menu, you’ll be treated to full-size appetizers like jumbo blue gulf shrimp on ice and grilled Mediterranean octopus, which are sizable enough to be shared. The entrees, which range from a daily selection of European whole fish to lobster stuffed lobster, are also substantial, leaving barely any room for dessert. Although the menu doesn’t include the fried chicken for which Chef Richard Hales is famed, it does include a libation of your choice (and you can always request an order of the chicken). Dreamed up in the vein of authentic Southern cuisine with a modern twist, the Miami Spice menu features a deviled Caesar salad, a roast pork shank with blueberry barbecue sauce, and crispy skin snapper with heirloom green beans.
